That's a rabbit, believe it or not!

Larry & his new scooter (Prelude to a Harley)

(That scooter was blue, and I rode many a mile on the back of it! We used to load up our .22 rifles and climb aboard for a trip out to Larry's uncle Ewing's farm where we bagged many a bull frog for our mothers to cook that night.)

Marvin used to take the two of us out walking in the woods and along the railroad tracks between Dyer and Trenton. We pretty much terrorized the sparrow population with those BB guns!

We were roping buddies and sidekicks in those days! Earl had been cowboying on a ranch up in Missouri and was our inspiration. He taught us just enough to be dangerous to the dog and cat population on our street!
